A first-of-its-kind program—a lasting impact
Our Behavioral Health College Partnership provides fast and effective psychiatric treatment for college students experiencing an acute mental health crisis and has become a model of care all over the country.

About

At Zucker Hillside Hospital, we understand that college-age kids are particularly vulnerable to a wide range of mental health conditions. Our Behavioral Health College Partnership (BHCP) is a unique community service program that works closely with 96 affiliated New York state colleges and universities and their student counseling centers to address the behavioral health issues impacting undergraduate and graduate students.

BHCP provides state-of-the-art, evidence-based evaluation and treatment for psychiatric crises and their aftermath, and we address diverse challenges ranging from adjustment problems to major disorders that often emerge during the college years.

One unique program, one extraordinary team and brave, inspiring patients show how together we make Zucker Hillside Hospital’s One South unit a place of healing and hope.
